Rural Relaxation in the Olive Groves of Granada

Casa Caballos is an old sympathetically renovated Spanish Finca set in it's own five acres of rolling olive groves and stunning countryside.

The Farmhouse is a stunning three bedroom house centered around a typical Andalucian private courtyard. With a large sun terrace, games room and familly room with satellite TV and DVD player it is a perfect family choice.

The Stables is a large two bedroomed family apartment.

The Tack Room is a spacious studio, with a separate kitchen and bathroom.

All have been tastefully and comfortably furnished, with log burning stoves for the winter nights and private patios for the long summer evenings.

Casa Caballos is well situated between Iznajar Lake, Montefrio, Priego de Cordoba and historic Loja. Just an hour from Malaga airport, or 40 minutes from Granada airport, the coast and Granada, we are ideally located to explore the Malaga and Granada provinces. The Sierra Nevada dominates the landscape and there are walks aplenty amidst glorious scenery and wildlife and birds. Skiing is also available an hour or so away, along with great golf courses, beaches and trekking within an hour

We positively encourage families with young children. We have two ourselves and know how difficult finding child friendly accommodation can be. That's why our pool has been built with a toddler’s section (also perfect for non-swimming adults). We also have a small play area and there are plenty of toys. On request we can provide cots, highchairs and other baby and child equipment.

Shopping and groceries are five minutes away in either Zagra or Ventorres de San Jose. There are also numerous bars and restaurants just a short drive away, which provide excellent local food and wines. Tapas are served with every drink.

However you choose to wile away your time, we are always on hand to offer assistance and ensure that your holiday is a fantastic and memorable one.

"Fantastic house, spacious, comfortable, peaceful, and very characterful.
Gorgeous big pool. Incredible views across the olive tree-covered valley from
the terrace, we dined there every evening watching glorious sunsets. The
moorish style, tiled inner courtyard was a great place to spend a warm
summer evening under the vines. The owners were wonderfully helpful, even
finding a guitar for my musician husband to play! This is a great area to
discover, lovely historic towns nearby, and of course the magnificent Alhambra
less than an hour's drive away. Local villages very friendly, we sampled paella
cooked in the open at a local festival, everyone made us feel incredibly
welcome. A dream place with bags of rustic charm, great family holiday".

"Nik and Jackie are wonderful hosts, always available to help. The Stables and Farmhouse are comfortable and well decorated, and the surrounding area is very beautiful. The swimming pool has an amazing view, and the donkeys were very obliging! From Casa Caballos we did day trips to Seville and Granada and even went skiing in the Sierra Nevada for a day! The children had a wonderful time playing outside, and we all felt we'd had the best holiday for many years."

Nik and Jackie once again made us feel like visiting family or friends. We have always enjoyed our visits and told our friends about them and this year 3 friends came with us. They enjoyed their stay too and next year other friends have said they want to come with us - so look out we'll be back!
Casa Caballos is a lovely restored farm house surrounded by olive groves we love it.
Pool was great.
place and area lovely, even the locals remembered us and welcomed us back, it's now like a home from home.
